I’m Kate Thomas, a digital librarian, researcher, and information literacy advocate helping people make sense of information, ask better questions, and find what matters.
Hi, I’m Kate.
I’m a digital librarian, researcher, and information literacy advocate with a deep curiosity about how people find, understand, and use information.
My work spans digital collections, research, public education, and information literacy, but the thread running through all of it is simple: I like making complex information easier to navigate, understand, and use with confidence.
I earned my MLIS from Syracuse University, and I’m especially interested in how organization, context, and good questions can turn information into something people can actually use.
What I Do
I take complicated information and turn it into something people can actually use. That might mean organizing a digital collection, digging into research, creating educational content, or finding a clearer way to connect the dots.

I believe information, when it’s organized and accessible, can be a tool for empowerment, discovery, and connection.
